Having lived in Defiance for most of her life, Cari treasures the unique balance her hometown offers, a place where familiar faces greet you at the local church, the bank, or the gym, yet new connections are always waiting to be made. Cari earned her Associate Degree in Business Management from Northwest State Community College before completing her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration at Mount Vernon Nazarene University, later obtaining her real estate license through Hondros College. Her foray into real estate began when her husband expressed an interest in flipping houses, but she stays in the industry because of the people. Known affectionately by her husband as "The Carebear" for her natural inclination to nurture her family, friends, and clients, Cari brings exceptional problem-solving skills and resilience to every transaction. She thrives on the challenge of helping buyers find their ideal home and guiding sellers as they transition into new chapters of their lives.
Grounding her practice in the philosophy of The Go-Giver and her own core values-caring, guiding, serving, and giving-Cari operates on the belief that people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. Beyond real estate, she recently became a travel advisor out of her pure love for exploring beaches and mountains with her family.
At home, Cari has been married to her husband, John, for 24 years, and together they raise their three children-Jack, Natalie, and Naomi-alongside their three cats, Roxie, Ralph, and Ivan, and a joyful exchange student from Thailand. Whether she is volunteering with LifeWise and her local church, supporting area non-profits, or meeting a friend at Cabin Fever Coffee, Cari remains devoted to serving the community she proudly calls home.
